Masterwannabe will become famous soon enough
Besson picc made by Kanstul

I have recently seen two different horns listed on eBay item # 180415816855 but I can't find more info on these horns.

Does anyone know where to find dealers that are selling these piccolo trumpets. The people at Besson told me these horns were special made for a European market the they did not sell as anticipated so they went to what ever distributors wanted them and they can't tell me who. The folks at Kanstul said they used to make these horns for Besson but were not involved in sales or marketing.

I find it strange that neither website had any info on these horns and no one seems to be able to tell me how/who/where or anthing more specific than it is a good horn.

I am hoping that some one here can help.

Thanks.

If you don't know where you are going it doesn't matter how you get there.

Re: Besson picc made by Kanstul

If like the other Besson piccolos made by Kanstul, they use a cornet mouthpiece, have a .460 bore (huge!) and are long models (like the Schilke P5-4), and quite bright. Some players love them. I'll stick to my Scherzer.
