Better Range with Cornet
I am a comeback player and recently received an Olds Ambassador Cornet purchased at an auction. The horn appears to be pretty old and is in pretty rough shape. The mp is stamped olds but no size given. With all that said, as I play this horn my range is better on this than my standard horn. Can anyone give me any idea as to why? The lead pipe appears to be smaller. Is it due to bore size?? Thanks.
