| Pianissimo User | blackburn lleadpipe 12m or 19 Hi guys, I have a 12M and 19 on loan from blackburn for my Bb Bach. Anyway, has anyone used either of these leadpipes on their bach? My question is this: How much will the leadpipe change once its mounted and not taped. I tend tolike the 12M the best so far, but I am worried that its to dark. Anyone have opinions on this? thanks |

Think about all the surface area that is being covered, and how little surface area will be covered when you get the thing put on properly. -Jimi

What happens when the leadpipe is soldered is that less energy is wasted by relection off the outside of the pipe. This makes the entire system more efficient - more of what you blow into the horn comes out the front.
