Blending with an 8310Z

Hey everyone,

I am currently testing a Yamaha 8310Z and much to my surprise, I love how it plays and the sound I get on it. My question is, do any of you who play one, have any blending issues in a wind ensemble setting?

Thanks for any advice.

Most of my playing is wind ensemble, church gigs, and jazz.

I play one, never had any problems with blending.

Are you having some difficulties?

I don't know about the blending as the wind ensemble I play with is on hiatus for the summer, so I won't have a chance to test it in a rehearsal or performance until September. So any advice is helpful. What I know is the horn is very easy to play and manipulate the tone quality.

Exactly, and the ease of manipulation is why you'll have no trouble blending, so long as you listen. It's easy to blend with a Z.
