![]() | Bud's Monette to be auctioned off For those of you who are interested, the Monette C Trumpet that Bud played in the 80's in the CSO is going to be auctioned off this Saturday at the Brass Buddies golf outing. The outingis a benefit for the Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest which Jay Friedman conducts. I don't believe there are any photos of this horn at the present time. The following is the description that was given to me. Large bore C, standard model, serial # 725, which is Bud's birthday. His name is stamped on the valve casing, and the words "Dave Monette, Chicago Ill. This horn was played by Bud in the orchestra in the middle and late 80's. If interested, you can contact Kirk who can give you more info on how to bid on this horn. His email is kirkl@sycamoreparkdistrict.com. Mark Ridenour |
