| C7 a friend of mine got a Lawler C7 around Christmas and just recently had it scratched finished, man is that thing beautiful. He switched horns with me at a job Friday night [ I didn't want to, can't spend the money ]. That horn played so open and was so easy to play. I am not sure what he had Mr. Lawler do to adjust the horn but it plays so much better then when I tried it in Dec. I'm am not going mention how lucky Brian is, new horn, new wife, both are keepers. | Mezzo Piano User | Yea, they are great. I have a C7 and a model T, both brush lacquer finished. I love the look. I'm having Roy build me a flugel and it will be finished the same. If the horn plays easier and more open, my guess is your friend had Roy open the venturi some. Actually, ask him! I'd like to know definatively~ |
