![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey Tony, had to drive home this morning, I can think of other things I'd rather have been doing as my car doesn't have air conditioning at the moment. ROUGH! The horns are fantastic. Felix arrive about an hour before the show and dropped them off and we decided they were so good we'd play them that afternoon. Great sound and projection, excellent intonation through all the registers and a nice easy blow. They are going to make my life a lot easier, it was nice to know a note was going to be dead on in tune when you play it. The price is very reasonable too considering all the horn you get. I may have a L bore NY Bach for sale soon.

![]() | Yeah, I can vouch for that 4 hour ride in the unairconditioned car...it was hell. Tony, you are going to love this horn. It is very even throughout, and the upper register really flies when you need it to! The craftmanship on it is incredible as well. We were getting looks from the other musicians in the pit because Dylan and I were so in sync playing the same horn. Wasn't in the hall, but the show was recorded, so hopefully we can have some soundclips posted sometime soon.

![]() | Let The Blood Flow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the update!!! I'll have mine in the morning I hope and I have a gig tomorrow night at the Palce Theater in Albany for AFLAC Insurance Company - 2,500 people... I am excited about the intonation comments!!! It will be nice to play trumpet again and not trombone if you know what I mean... On a serious note I have to at this time take me and my son to the basement as there is a Tornado warning for Saratoga County!!! We're not in OZ anymore!! Later! Tony G |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You guys will think this is funny. I was down in D.C. visiting a friend last week and thought while I was there I'd take some auditions for experience, the Marine Band in D.C. and the Naval Academy Band in Annapolis. I ended up coming in 2nd runner up at the Marine Band audition June 6-7, and I WON the Naval Academy Band audition June 8th (I declined the job). I played the audition on my Stage 1 California.
