Charlie Melk V1 Conversion

Well, if I can't rave about my new trumpet here don't know where so here goes-- just got my new trumpet by Charlie Melk of Charlie's Brassworks in Wisconsin. This guy really knows his stuff! We took a brand spanking new (sort of a shame but it was the sacrificial lamb) Conn Vintage One and put on a CBW bell and leadpipe, matte finish along with lots of tweaking and TLC. A very easy playing horn with a lot of presence. Photos and more info. here on the Gearhead Page of my two bit web site:
