| Conn Connstellation Cornet - Parts Question Does a connstellation have felts between the valve cork and the underside of the valve cap? My 61 connstellation cornet does not but I noticed that bottom spring conns have the green felts under the caps. Thanks, |

| Y'know, that is a good question. I have three Connstellations (just sold a forth -- an early '60's 38B). I have seen different felt/cork set-ups on almost every Connstellation I see (which is not every day). Being mindful it is quite unlikely any of these are in "as original" condition, it's hard to tell. When they have had replacements in the past, anything could have occured. I shall keep researching this .... Robert Rowe |
