The DFW Trumpet Festival is going to be held on October 20th and 21st at Texas Christian University. Friday evening at 7:30pm, we will have a concert by Eclipse artist Trent Austin, sponsored by Bruce Lee at Northern Brass. On Saturday, we will have a full lineup of trumpets, including Stomvi, Yamaha, Schilke, Conn-Selmer, French Selmer, Curtois, Eclipse, Stage 1, Destinos, and others. We will also have several clinics ranging in topic from performance to trumpet design and manufacture. A full lineup of clinics will be posted once everything is finalized. The concert Friday evening will be at 7:30pm, and the festivities on Saturday will start at 9am, and run until approximately 5pm.

This year, we are going to need to charge a fee, which we feel is very nominal. The fee will be $15, or $10 for students. If you pay early, prior to Wednesday, Oct 17th, the cost is $10 for everyone. Please send your payments via paypal to dfwtrumpetfest@hotmail.com. If you do not have a paypal account and wish to find other payment information, please let me know.

We will have door prizes that will be given out during the day on Saturday, and there are several clinics to attend. Also, we have just added another dealer that will have some Destinos and others to play.
