Question Destino 3 tuning slide question

Destino Owners...

When I tune my Destino 3 to my tuner, I happened to notice that the tuning slide is "way out"...about 1 1/2 inch or so. Its in tune, per the tuner, but the slide seems much farther than normal. Most of my horns average about 1/2-3/4 inch or so out when in tune on the same tuner.

Is it just me? or is this "common" with Destino's?

Re: Destino 3 tuning slide question

I no longer have a Destino 3*, but I did have 2 of them before finding a 5* that I fell in love with.

I did have to pull my tuning slide out a little farther on my 3*s than some other horns, but nothing crazy. My 5* is pretty normal with about 3/8" pull on the tuning slide.
