Dumb Luck..........the just plain lucky ones of us who have managed to win on of these beautiful trumpets!!!! I still can't belive I have one. back to the original question, I have only had problems with the tuning on mine once. I was trying some different mps to find what suits the horn and for some reason two marcinkiewicz pieces played quite flat (in this trumpet only) Every other brand has not been a problem. Now I have settled on a bach 3c which for me gives me what I want. My recomendation is to actually phone Leigh or John as they take alot of pride in their instruments and would most likely hate to think someone is not completly happy with their trumpet. Well thats my two cents worth. |
