ECLIPSE WINNER FOR 2005

Well here we go!

This years contest has been of a very high standard indeed, and i'd like to thank everyone for joining in the contest.
You have all shown great imagination, skill, humour and sadness.

There of course can only be one winner of the contest this year (or can there?) and that has caused us many an argument here at Eclipse because when you have 5 judges they tend to score extremely different from each other.
Trying to work out our winner almost never came.

We were stuck on 3 last entries but could not decide which so it almost came to a toss of a coin (but did'nt).
I just wanted to let you all know that in another years contest any one of 3 entries could have easily been the winner!

REMEMBER !!!!! we start this thing again at the end of the year so all is not lost.

Okay enough already i hear them scream!!!!

THE WINNER OF THE 2005 ECLIPSE CONTEST IS....

SILVERSTAR !! AKA LARA

Congratulations to you Lara!! we found that for your young age you did very well and put forward a cool idea with the dating game trumpet.
We are extremely happy that we will be able to build you an instrument that you can cherish forever.
Also the experience of coming to the UK will not be forgotten as long as you live.

BUT ! HOLD ON !

As i have mentioned, the contest was too close for comfort and it was indeed almost too difficult to choose between the last 3.

I was left with a pain in my head with guilt over the other 2 as i believe their entries to be fantastic in their own ways too.

SO !

Mike Ansberry AND Dan Millheim

You will both also have the choice of any Eclipse product that we manufacture and in any finish!!!!

these will be made and sent to your homes!!!

I finish by saying thankyou to the trumpetmaster team for hosting the contest again for the third time, and ask that you all put the same effort into next years.
I hope you all have had fun, and i hope no-one hates me too much for not picking them.

See you in London Lara!

Regards

Leigh,Carl,John,Pete,Radka (the Eclipse Team)

Great - now I have to resuscitate both my flugel AND Lara!

Superb work Lara - see you in London - Yes, if you think you are coming over here without meeting the rest of us, think again!
I feel the need to introduce another American to the joys of curry
