Re: eric miyashiro trumpet?

If you're talking about the Yamaha that bears his name, I played one a few years ago in Boston. It had a very nice even sound. It was hard to tell how it projected because I was in a little practice room, but from behind the horn it felt pretty good. I might not be the best judge, though--this horn was probably designed for commercial/lead playing, neither of which I do a lot of.

Re: eric miyashiro trumpet?

I only played it for a few minutes but really enjoyed it. I liked the sound and response, which I found out later is due to the thin but 5" bell.
