Whether or not the horn gets better or not is in the ear and chops of the beholder. It would be pretty tough to quantify the "improvement" - but who cares? The rule is play before you pay - and if it works, it is good! There are some real works of art on Jasons internet gallery!

Besides, as woodworking is my other hobby...I can appreciate the craftsmanship of getting birds-eye maple to "fit" around a valve body, and other trumpet parts. EXCELLENT work in both crafts. A true craftsman. It is a strikingly unusual trumpet visually, but...its still a Harrelson underneath the wood grains.
