Re: finkehorns

Why does their website list their trumpets as trumpets "in B", and not "in Bb"?
Did their webmaster goof?

I haven't come across any music written for trumpet in B!

Re: finkehorns

Alan,
B is German for Bb. B-Natural is called H. That is how Bach was able to compose his name B-A C-H.

Finke is the only company that I know of who goes to music fairs, but doesn't let anybody play their trumpets (he doesn't waste any time telling you how much better they are than the competition though.......). I know of one person with a nat from them that never gets played (it is not very good). I was at the shop MANY years ago and found nothing that screamed "must have". I also don't know of any "serious" players using his equipment.

Thank you, To much money to gamble with. I am not sure what I expected.
I'll wait for the Chinese to come out with the $50.00 copy.
