First Picture of Chuck's Solar Bell by Eclipse

Chuck Willard, in honor of Leigh McKinney, has changed his user name from Schilke B6 to SOLAR BELL

Here is the first picture of the Eclipse Solar Bell Trumpet owned by Solar Bell, the artist formerly known as Schilke B6

I played a gig with the horn tonight...FANTASTIC!!

It is everything I could have ever wanted in a trumpet.

The 2nd set, I gave it, and a bunch of lead charts to the 3rd player and said "Have at it"

I almost didn't get it back for the 3rd set!

I will post more pictures soon and give it a review as I play it more.

Get ready for a whole bunch of Greats! Fantastics! Unbelievables! etc.

Chuck,

Sweet horn.

Don't play too loud though, you don't want someone to call the cops!

Solar Bell/Chuck,

Welcome to the family! Nice name change!

Jack Nicholson used some great superlatives in "Terms of Endearment"... feel free to let 'em fly!

Enjoy your Solar Bell, Solar Bell!

Bruce

40cal, WOW... news sure travels fast! Imagine... you've been waiting all of this time... you're blowin' the daylights out of a trumpet that you've won in a contest... and, the next thing you know there's a knock on your door about a violation of some noise ordinace, in your own town, which you never knew existed?

Gee, a new tooth and a new horn all at the same time! Chuck, this sure has been "your year". Congrats ... it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

(Well, it COULD; but what would I do with two Eclipses?)

Sure, I'm at our close friend's home down the street. There are 29 people there watching me open the box from england. I just finishplaying the horn for a while. We are now discussing Leigh and the contest and my phone rings.

A very official sounding deep voice syas "Mr. Willard?"

"Yes?"

"This is the St. Clair Shores Police Department. We have a complain about a noise ordinence violation at your house."

"At MY house?"

"Yes, someone playing a freaking TRUMPET TO LOUD!!"

Way to go Bruce Lee, you actually had me going, for more than a minute!

It was worth the joke though, THANKS Bruce, 40....

You might start by playing one at your concerts!
