Free Cleaning Kits!

Many people have asked previously "What is the best
way to clean the leadpipe and bend on the Eclipse
Trumpets?"
We have now found and bought in large numbers,
cleaning kits which we feel clean the instrument very
well.
We would like all Eclipse Owners (no matter where or who)
to contact us if they wish to be sent a kit free of
charge!

All future customers will recieve this kit with their
new horn!
A Diagram of the best way to use on the Eclipse set up
will be sent with each kit.

Regards

Leigh Mckinney

You weren't using one of those when you busted your fingers up, were you? (must slow you down to 1/2 speed when it comes to typing....only one finger that's working now?)

I'd feel for ya, man....but I think I'll keep my hands to myself right now!

Hi Toots

No i was on the polishing machine, polishing an Olds super for a customer of ours.
The polishing mops stitching came apart at high speed and wrapped around my glove and tried to pull my hand into the machine.

There is a happy ending though! I managed to hold onto the Olds and there is no damage at all on the horn. THE HORN LIVES!!

Regards

Leigh

Leigh,

Did the Dr. say that you would be able to play the trumpet after they heal?

Umm....guess I won't tell you the story of the time the 1/2" drill somehow locked in the "ON" position and the reaming bit caught in the leg of my pants somewhere between the front pocket and the knee. Or how it then proceeded to chew it's way towards umm...uhh....well, let's say the "Meat and two vege".

Fortunately for my children I sacrificed a pair of cotton gloves and a hunk of skin out of my hand to grab the drill chuck and heave the lot away from the tender bits. Was kind of breezy going home to get a new pair of pants though. (lordy, that had to have been 37? years ago!)

Sign me up coach!

I'm sure my Large Red needs a bath... I've been playing a lot lately!

Thanks Leigh... when are you coming across the pond?
:)

Best,

Trent

CLEANING KIT...WHERE TO...???

Hi Leigh!
Bruce delivered the GP Large Red to me Friday....AWESOME!!! Took it to a gig yesterday with Bruce. I bet his ears are still ringing today!!! (I don't know if that's good or bad!!) . Got the cleaning kit with it. I tried snaking it down the leadpipe figuring it would come out inside the 3rd valve casing...but it kept getting stuck on the bend where the amado waterkey is set-up. Can you tell me...(1) is this normal for it to get caught here (don't understand why it's getting hung up on the inside of the water key) and (2) what's the best way to get the swab through the leadpipe...entering what part of the horn?

Leigh...thank you VERY much for the quick delivery time and for the fancy doo-dads that I requested you put on the horn for me! Ditto to Bruce Lee for his help and, most of all, for his patience with me (he must have answered 1000 of my questions...and never once took a drink!!!!).

Thanks for your superb craftmanship!
