![]() | French Besson "Meha" C Morning, This past week I borrowed a French Besson Meha C (serial 6,000-something) for a quintet sight reading session. I’ve been wanting a C for some time, and I really like this horn. I know its owner doesn’t use the thing very much, if at all, as it was pretty gunked up when he gave it to me. Other than the cleaning I gave it, the horn is in decent shape, with just a bit of tarnish on the silver plate. If I were to offer to buy the horn from him, what would be a fair offer for it?
