| Mezzo Forte User | Friggin' did it again... So, I'm playing along, enjoying the music, quick mute change, BAM!!! Put the mute in the bell, gave a lil twist and now I have a hunk of junk... I twisted off my bell again... Darn Bear's are too strong for their own good... It never played right after I got it fixed the first time... I'm wondering if it's even worth tryin' to get fixed this time... grrr. Anyone have a beefer I can borrow? HAHA. Just had to vent. Bear

| Forte User | Re: Friggin' did it again... I have played a Schilke with tuning bell for 5 years now and have never had a mute fall out on me, and the bell is still as straight as the day I got it. I can't imagine how much force you must have used! Just give it a little huff to moisten the bell and then just let the taper hold it in. And I agree. I need to see pictures. |

| Mezzo Forte User | Re: Friggin' did it again... I would love to post pictures, I don't have a digital camera. The horn is a POS... but it was relatively cheap at the time of purchase and it played well. I don't want to stir up trouble by mentioning what kind it is. Ha. Anyone wanna loan me a Monette Prana XLT/MF? HAAHA.
