    Exclamation Full Engraved Trumpet

Hey everyone! I recently have had a hunch for a full engraved trumpet, fixed third slide ring, with the first slide trigger. Does anyone know where I could find one or how much one would cost? I would really appreciate it! Thanks!!!

I offer full engraving. And Jason DuMars does not take new orders. I have had clients contact him for 3 years straight with no response. He has a great website, but does not offer engraving.

    Re: Full Engraved Trumpet

Wow! That is very pretty. I first need to find a nice professional trumpet and then send it in to get some artistic engraving. I have two student trumpets right now and don't want to spend more on the engraving to put on it than how much the horn cost.

Depends on how busy they are, but I got mine back in 10 days. The cost was $180 plus the shipping/insurance both ways. A deal, for sure!

    Re: Full Engraved Trumpet

The rumors of my demise are premature. :) I am back engraving, and I have many pictures available of recent projects here:

I recently did work on the flug Doc played while on the Tonight Show... the new owner wanted a Hawaiian theme and a hula girl, so that's what he got. Sherry does great work, but it's nothing like the work I do, which is much more detailed and intricate. I typically charge more, but the work is reflective of that.

Drop me a note at jason@dumarsengraving.com if you'd like to discuss a possible project.

My Kanstul Regulation Bugle is on it's way to Sherry for some pretty detailed work. We'll have a direct comparison soon enough. May be a few weeks, Kanstul shipped to her in raw brass, it goes back for the plating, then to me. I'll post pics when it arrives.
