![]() | Getzen 3850 Custom Cornet She arrived yesterday. http://homepage.mac.com/dominusvobis...toAlbum12.html Immeasurable improvement over my old $25 Getzen 300. Notes don't slip all over the place. Great sound on a Wick 4! It's heavy compared to the 300 and has levers! Brett Getzen, Thanks for your help and kudos to Lee Walkowich at Chuck Levin's Washington Music Store as well. All the Best, Richard |

![]() | Re: Getzen 3850 Custom Cornet Naw . . . I'm improving, but that's as far as I'll take it. Besides, a broken clock is right twice a day. I try to keep that one in mind. Thanks Guys I do appreciate it. Richard |

![]() | Re: Getzen 3850 Custom Cornet I had one of these and I think it's one of the best cornets going. I sold it because I wasn't using it much but not because it wasn't an excellent little cornet. Great looking too with that copper bell. If you like the Wick you ought to try the Kelly 4B (yes, it's plastic)-- believe it or not it's a great player.
