Getzen Capri Cornet parts

Hi,

I have a silver-plated Getzen Capri cornet (about 9 year old, with the plastic stopper on the 3rd slide). I really love it and play with it even more than my trumpet. However, the 3rd slide ring is missing and I don't know where to get one. Any idea somebody ?

That sounds like something a repair man could easily make for you.

That's what I thought but it sounds like my repairman in Montreal isn't really interested in this. :( That's why my question.

Whether this would work on the cornet I don't know - it might just need cutting down (?). Or why not contact Getzen - they'd know, you'd figure.

What Jude said. The Bandroom piece should work, but contacting Getzen is the way to start. Their customer service is the "best".
