![]() | Getzen Custom Series I'm in the market for a used Getzen Custom Series B-flat Trumpet. Where can I find one? These horns either aren't popular at all or once they are bought, they are never re-sold. A new one is just a tad out of reach but if I can find one at a fair price, I'll be a happy camper. Thanks for your help. Dave |

![]() | Re: Getzen Custom Series Dave, I have a Getzen Custom 3051S (Silver Plated). I bought it new after trying several horns including Strads, Xenos and Vintage Ones. It is about two years old, has had the valves aligned by Bob Reeves and Ken Larson fitted it with one of his leadpipes (awesome). It has both the square and round tuning slides, hard Getzen case as well as a set Curry heavy bottom caps and the original leadpipe. It is an excellent playing horn from very high to low. I have and Eclipse enroute and if it works out I maybe reluctantly selling the 3051 under pressure from my bride. PM me if you are interested. I have about $2200.00 in the horn and would probably take $1500.00 maybe a little less to sell it quickly. Gene

![]() ![]() | Re: Getzen Custom Series I think the reason you can't find a lot of them used is because once they are bought, people keep them. Granted, we don't sell nearly as many Custom Series horns as Bach does Strads, but there are a lot of them out there. Keep your eyes on ebay. Every once in a while one will pop up on there.
