![]() ![]() | Re: Getzen factory film That's the first time I got to see the finished product. Unfortunately, their "How a trumpet is made" turned into "How a trumpet bell is made". The camera crew spent way too much time in the bell department when they were here and couldn't film much of anything else. Oh well, it gives a pretty general idea of what we do. You can see a little more detailed videos on our site. There's no narration, but we do have a description of what is going on in each clip. Getzen : Videos Brett Getzen |

![]() ![]() | Re: Getzen factory film Ha, no I didn't pick the music... or the narrator. Pretty much all we had a say in was the fact that they were here and providing details for the narration. That's about it. Brett Getzen |

![]() | Re: Getzen factory film Thats interesting Brett. I have always found the valve manufacturing bit the most interesting. I still can't undertand how they get the ports in the casings and the valves to line up so accurately.

![]() | Re: Getzen factory film There is a site that has some still photos of the other stages of making a trumpet. If you put Zeus Gaurnerius Olympus Trumpets into a search engine, you should be able to find it. |
