Herald Trumpet

Recently picked up a Getzen herald trumpet VERY cheap. It was just too good to pass up. I've had to play them before and found them to be way out of tune. At least the ones I played were. (Benge) I don't see much demand for that sort of thing and was wondering what this horn might be worth.

By the way, compared to the Benge I played years ago, this one plays quite well. Intonation is relatively good.

Any info would be appreciated!

Roland

Re: Herald Trumpet

Use it for weddings. Hang the bride and groom's colors from it. The wedding planner of someone in the wedding party could make the banner to hang from the horn. The bride and groom would keep the banner. Good Schtick (sic)

Tell the mayor of your city you are available for vip events. Make a banner with the cities seal and hope the mayor hires you.

Make a banner for every church denomination you play in. People will remember you.
