Buy a Bundy for $75 and lip-synch to a Maynard Ferguson record [For all you youngsters out there, "records" are what they had before 8-track tapes, and 8-track tapes is what they had before cassettes, and cassettes is what they had before CD's, and CD's is what they had before MP3's... and one could fine-tune the playing of the record by putting a roll of pennies on the player's tone arm...] | |

![]() | Re: Holton ST304 facts I've discovered something new / old about Holton's nomenclature in the 1970's. The ad at http://www.paulcacia.com/Pictures/Tr...ard%2BFerguson is obviously referring to the .465 Holton ST304, but the ad calls it the "MF4" trumpet. So apparently: ST301 = MF1 ST302 = MF2 ST304 = MF4 The first names above are the official Holton model numbers, while the second names are nicknames which take "MF" and add the last digit of the model number to it. I have also seen reference to a trumpet called "MFII" which I assume is the ST302 / MF2 nickname rendered in Roman numerals. 2 = II |
