http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...722334422&rd=1

being "less adept" I have been excluded from the bidding

But, but, but .... it is 50% off. Only 10K! Why, what is 10K for a horn Mr. Monette made for HIMSELF!

But alas, I too am less adept!

Hmmm,

10K can buy 2 gold plated Eclipse horns or almost 3 silverplated ones.

A Bb
A C
and a flugel

Or I can have a 7lb jazz soloists horn...
hmmmmmmmm

;)
Lol

It's just a hard decision, isn't it?
I don't know if I'll be able to make up my mind

for $10K you could buy about 4 Bachs and pick on which one plays the best..

Better yet, you could buy any top of the line custom horn (WT, Lawler, Calicchio, Eclipse, Taylor, etc) and get a nice Case* for it.

*Case would be a nice late model car.

Thats it! I want an Olympus (for obvious reasons) and a used PT Cruiser "case". Can I convince my wife that the PT Cruiser is a case? Or the IRS for that matter. Oh well .....

Hey! A convertible PT Cruiser so the trombone case could stick out the back like it was a surfboard! Yeah!!! A "case on wheels".

Tragedy here, no sale, reserve not met.

$10,200 doesn't make the cut.
