Smile Identifying a Selmer Trumpet

I just returned from the Philippines visiting my family. I found out my father-in-law played a trumpet in high school and had a horn laying around. I would like to know how old it is but can't seem to find info on it.

Engraving on the bell is "Selmer Standard Paris Foreign". On the middle valve tube is stamped 432; this is also stamped on the valve as well. on the tube where the mouth piece goes is stamped 330707. Can someone help?

Re: Identifying a Selmer Trumpet

Hi, welcome to the forum. I have never heard of that model before. Where are you located? The UK has had a different Selmer operation over the years than the US or France. You can check Horn-u-copia for a lot of Selmer info and instrument variants. Some pics would be great if you can post them. The word "foreign" on the bell kind of points me in the direction of the UK. US made or imported Selmer's didin't have that wording.
I know some English makers like Besson used to put on "all Engish made" or something like that.
After 1891 the US required the countrie's names on imported horns and after 23, "made in ....."

Smile Re: Identifying a Selmer Trumpet

Dave,
I am currently located in South Korea where I work. I have been on the site you reccomended several times but I don't see any reference to the trumpet I have. I see a few that look like it and I searched through all Selmer cornets and trumpets.

My father-in-law and I are the same age but he is 10 months younger. That would make me thing he started in 1966. He said his father bouth this horn for him when he joined the band at a music store in Manila.

I am mostly looking for some parts like the mouth piece. There is also a "U" shaped tube that is adjustable with a threaded rod that is dinged up and I would like a new one of those if I can find one.

When I try to post pictures of the trumpet it is asking for a URL. Is there a way to attach pictures froma file on my computer? Never mind, I figured it out. They are attached.
