Wow, that's a good looking horn. If it plays like it looks, you've got a winner on your hands.
Keep up the great work!!

I dont know how to just post a video (if its possible on here). the link should open another window and play the video. The video is a local college student named Nathan Williams. He is playing the Luna Nuova. The tune is Up Jumped Spring.
I open the picture link, but this one doesn't work, just get one of my audio players and nothing happens.

Claude Gnocchi will become famous soon enough
Re: Introducing the Luna Nuova

Hey...I saw/heard the video - first of all "kudos" to the young trumpeter...I predict he will be someone to watch for in the very near future...excellent jazz concept in my opinion! As to the horn, it looks & sounds fantastic!!! Come on....give us a hint of the price....

DQsCustomShop will become famous soon enough
Re: Introducing the Luna Nuova

I would like to get around $2250 for it, but will likely put it on ebay bin $2250 but start it around $1400. Not a lot of people know me yet, so it is tough to ask a premium price for a horn someone has never played before. In the same respect it does have its imperfections. The valve block was reclaimed from a getzen that had had a tough run of luck. The valves were great, but some of the tubes and crooks had taken a beating. All of the worst things got replaced because I wanted the horn to look and play as much like a new horn as possible.... the bell will also be lacquered or plated before the horn is shipped to the potential buyer.

Thanks again for your interest.
