![]() | Just a follow up the Monette at INDY for the other race Did anyone catch what was played by the Army bugler at the Coca-Cola 600 pre-race?? Noted the 3 full rings including the top pinky ring and a single brace and was not sure of the mouthpiece. Seemed like it was deep almost flugely to me.

![]() ![]() | Re: Just a follow up the Monette at INDY for the other race I caught the last few notes of Taps. When the bagpipers came on I hit the mute button on the remote and started reading a book. When I looked up the bugler was on playing the last notes. It was a bright clear open tone. I wish I had heard the whole thing. For contrast, The Washington D.C. show on television featured a Marine Corp bugler and he played the Marine Corp version of taps.
