![]() | Kanstul Piccolo trumpet There is one of theirs which accepts either trumpet or cornet shank mouthpieces. Has anyone tried the cornet shank version? Does it reduce the tubing by enough length to play in the correct pitch (the original F besson one they made had serious problems with this which is why the later verisons were cornet receiver). |

| Mezzo Piano User | I messed around a little with one of Kanstuls piccs about a year ago when I was shopping for my Bb. I didn't really know much about piccolos then (and i still don't really) but I remember it was one of the easiest playing piccs I've ever tried. Very free-blowing, and pretty easy to keep in tune. I liked it. (sorry, my post probably dosn't help you at all really, I'm just really bored right now, so I thought I'd post something.)
