large hands, small trumpet

i play a MAX, built by Kanstul for Charles Colin.
the horn sounds good to me but it's too small for my hands.
i can't get my thumb through the saddle or my finger through the ring on the slides.
when i get some money, I'm going the change horns due to the size not the sound.
do you build any horns for the guy with a larger hand?
is the any way to specify a larger wrap so that my hand can fit?

Funny, the horn I had before my current one was too big, it was a 50s Olds Studio. I think the one I have now is a Kanstul, but I'm not sure. It's a Besson International.

James,

I know the feeling - I can barely hold my old getzen comparied to other horns (smallest horn I know of). My web site has some pics of how I have to hold any horn that I use. The getzen is even worse, i have to use my right thumb to active the first vavle slide trigger. I have yet to run into a horn that will let me hold it in a normal fashion...

I have had special order custom trumpets done for people with large hands. You need to give me a call to discuss your needs but we can do it.
