Lawler's Getzen valves (Question)

Do Roy's new (Getzen) valves use the standard single slot black synthetic material for the valve guides or has he replaced them with metal? He has certainly made a good choice in valves. I once had a 30 year old Eterna with the plating chipping off the valves in places - the horn was still tight and the valves did not stick.
