Martin 3460T question....

I just got one off ebay. I was giving it a bath and found what looks like 2 very slim "O" rings, one on a slide, and one in the tub. Did they put rings on the slides or something? If so, does anyone know exactly where they used them?
Thanks,
greg

A lot of players put O rings on the third slide legs so you don't get a click every time you pull it in.

Yea, sounds like that's it. Thanks, (from a newbie). BTW, this raw brass Committee sounds pretty damn good on 1st impression. Plays about as EZ as my Yammie 6310Z. Fast valves~
