Hi I had the opportunity to play a martin committee and loved it. I was wondering if a martin handcraft committee feels and sounds the same way.

I have a '49 Committee and a '40 Handcraft Committee. These two particular horns are very similar. My Handcraft is a little more open in the upper register and a little darker, the '49 is a little brighter up top, but the difference isn't huge. I love both of them and would be happy with either if I could keep only one.... but I'd rather keep them both ;) Now, I did spend the money to have a valve job done on the Handcraft version, so I guess I'd keep it if push came to shove.
