Minneapolis/St. Paul Repair shops

hey guys,

This is kind of connected to my other post about the stolen horn... For those of you in the Twin Cities, who repairs brass instruments? The only guy I know is Eric Peterson. I'm guessing whoever buys the horn from a pawn shop is going to need to get it repaired (there's a big dent in the leadpipe), so I'd like to contact anyone who might see this horn.

Thanks,
Jimi

Re: Minneapolis/St. Paul Repair shops

Jimi-
Sorry to hear about the horn. I will keep my eyes and ears open and will also spread the word for you.
The two repair guys that I use are Eric Peterson and Marv McCoy. Marv used to own his own shop, but he retired, sold his equipment, and now works part time for the guy who bought his shop. I don't know his name but if you get to word to Marv I know he will be on the look out for you.
Also, Groth Music has a good brass repair person, you might want to let them know as well. Never know, the theif might try to sell it to them as well.

Good luck on getting the horn back.

Chris
