Not exactly... the sizes sound simillar but they're really not. There is something around called a comparator that helps people determine sizes but I've never used it, so, I'm not sure.

and which mouthpiece should ? choice in prana series

Again, I'm not sure.

....and my thirth question...1 month later my c trumpet(stomvi mahler series)will come..? think in monette,Bb trumpet mouthpiece cannot used for c trumpets..is it true?

Yes, you certainly can use it but it's not the absolute best because each mouthpiece is a different length and that length affects the intonation

so have ? to buy two mouthpieces ?

[b]No... my recommendation is to buy a Bb mouthpiece and use that until you can get a C mouthpiece later IF you don't wish to buy two mouthpieces. By the way, people will recommend to you to buy imitations of these mouthpieces because they are cheaper and while they may be an improvement over other mouthpieces they are not Monette mouthpieces. They just use the name.[/B

]and which mouthpiece can ? use on c trumpet?

The same size as the Bb.

(I 've never used any monette mouthpiece before..)

Yes, and it can be confusing. You'll notice from the clips, especially the long one (7 and a half minutes with many players) that many of the Monette players don't move their embouchures... if you are such a player, the Monette mouthpiece may be a very nice improvement for you. If you tend to pivot a lot, you may not like it. I wish I could help more but without knowing your playing, those are the most general ideas I can give you. Good luck, whatever you decide. Will you be at the ITG conference? Maybe it would be a good idea to wait until then when you could try them in person?

thank you ...

You are very welcome... iyi Günler!

[quote=Manny Laureano;286176].[/quote ooh what a surprise to see iyi günler...thank you..maybe you know ı live in adana which is the medıum city in turkey..but the classical music is not common here unfourtunetaly .so there is only one yamaha shop and they sell only drums and pianos..ı can't try any mouthpieces there because of this. I play 1. chair in a state symphony orhcestra(gabrielle cassoni came here 2 years ago as playing arutunian concert and carnaval of venice)ı have no off day here..until july ı think we have some turnes around to turkey and maybe korea.if my program is ok.,ı hope get ITG conferense..I want to meet you and try any mouthpieces and trumpets very much...ı still haven't decided to what do ı do...to order or wait for try personally..but thank you very much for your concern...I 'M VERY HAPPY TO MEET YOU..

Re: monette prana..

Hi Bugle75,
the rim size closest in "feel" to the 14 B is the Monette B4. I used to use the 14B for lead work and the switch to the B4 went without any problems. For extreme high register work I use the B4L.

Dear Begum,

I spoke with my Turkish colleague, Fora Baltaçigil, and he mentioned that he played a bass solo with your orchestra about 4 years ago! I'm sure you were not in the orchestra at that time but it's nice to have these small connections.
