Talking My Custom Stage One

Hello all-

I just wanted to drop everyone a line to let you know that Felix is in the process of putting together a custom Stage One for me. He's desinged a special large bell taper for me in a rimless copper configuration that has a bell diameter of 5 and 1/4 inches. It will have a bronze leadpipe and tuning slide. This thing is being designed to specs Felix and I have discussed with the idea for making the "ultimate dark sounding horn" .
When I get the horn I'll be sure to post pictures of it here on TM. I'm so stoked that now I get to show off one of my babies just like all you cats!
Peace and have a happy turkey day!
Matt

Sounds like a wonderful trumpet!

(I hope my shade of "green" is not showing through)

Blessings,

Michael-
Glad to see you are a dealer for NYTC. Fellix and the horns are awsome, and most importantly- honest!
I can't wait to share pics with you guys. It's been a long hard semester and this horn will be the pay off at the end for me. Along with a paycheck from Bellarmine University, which I teach at and the University of Louisville ( no check!) that I attend. Boy am I ready for a vacation!
Best

I'll have to give you a call next time I'm at U of L. I occassionaly do some modification to the boiler controls there. Would love to see the Stage 1 sometime. Also nice to meet TMer.

(I'm not artist, maybe butcher, or candlestick guy)

Matt,

I am really happy for you and look forward to seeing your horn when you post it. I am a big fan of Dark horns as you will see in my signature. Felex will bring it all together for you. Enjoy!

Thanks Dan - I'm really excited too. Felix has just been so accomodating when it comes to finding EXACTLY what I want in a horn. At this point I think I'll never get another horn from anyone else. I can't wait to post pics... I promise as soon as I get it or Felix sends me some
Peace

Bourbon City has a spectacular aura about
Hey Matt,

Contrats Matt. I got my NYTC horn through Dr. Jim Fox at www.ibowtie.com out of Newburgh, IN.

While I don't have a "custom" trumpet, I feel as if I do: The New York Light.

I have the only one in exsistance right now. It is the very first one. How did a country boy get this you ask? Fate my friend. Fate.

As soon as you get yours, then we'll have two of Felix's creations here in Louisville.

Mark, when you come over and if Matt has his horn, we can have our own trumpet festival.

Matt, I believe you and I played in a band together at a wedding a few years ago with Jim Polley and Clair Morgan.
