![]() | Hello, TMers- I just spent the past week in Luton visiting Leigh, John, and Carl at the Eclipse shop and renewing acquaintances and making some new pals including Eclipse artists Alex Yates, Noel Langley, Henry Lowther, Tom McNiven, and also TrumpetMike, Will Spencer, Nick Smart, and Giles Wittome (among others). I brought back a new Eclipse MR Bb and an MR flugelhorn and I can't wait to get through my old email and phone messages so I can start practicing these beauties. I'll give you a full review on the horns as I get going with them, but the first impression is basically "love at first sight"! Hopefully, Alex will post photos of my new babies...along with her gorgeous new cornet (which is pretty enough to be sold in a jewelry store). More soon... Pat Harbison |

![]() | Re: My New Eclipse Babies!!!! Fantastic Pat! I'm so envious of you...... I'd love to own an Eclipse let alone two or more.... I can't wait to see pictures.... I've been looking for a reason to replace my keyboard and monitor. I'm sure as soon as I see the pictures; my keyboard and monitor will perish in an unfortunate salavation incident!

![]() | Re: My New Eclipse Babies!!!! Yes, we "smoinked" on Curry quite a few times. It was obsolutely delicious and quite a treat. Another view of the "litter" ![]() I think they are stunning. ![]() Last edited by Alex Yates; 02-19-2007 at 12:10 PM. |

![]() | Re: My New Eclipse Babies!!!! Hi Alex and Pat Congratulations on aquiring these lovely horns...I am looking forward to the reviews. I would really like to know how the cornet and flugel compare....my Jupiter flugel will not last forever. I am glad these great independant horn makers are drawing in establishment players Pat..........of course you will be asked more than ever what horn you are playing...... Alex I love that word "smoink" haven't heard it in years.......made my day. Walter |

Denis Wick's son stopped in while we were there as well. That was a nice surprise. Last edited by Alex Yates; 02-19-2007 at 08:59 PM. Reason: spelling Denis Wick's name correctly thanks to trumpetmike | |
