![]() | My New Horn!!!!!! OK - Felix and I came up with this concept. mostly Felix and a little less me, but as you can see it is pretty amazing. Just think beyond "Standard" and you will see what is so very special about this horn design. I have some studio time booked in the near future and I will post clips of this beauty when I get that done! Peace all Matthew Matt Lawson - Trumpeter and Composer - PHOTOS The link ! | Piano User | Re: My New Horn!!!!!! Matt, very nice!! I love it, it's pretty close to mine too. I have a question...do you ever play in a section of Bachs or Yamahas or whatever and ever have a problem blending with the Stage 1? Felix said he's never had a complaint about it, so I'm not too worried, but I was just curious. Russ

![]() | Re: My New Horn!!!!!! Nice looking horn man! Felix emailed me to let me know he is sending my horn this week for play testing. I am so very excited to finally get a chance to play it! Over the last week and a half Felix has been giving me updates as he play tested the horn, and there seemed to be a level of excitement he has about my horn that is even a little more than I expected from him. Does that make sense? He really seems stoked about this horn! If he's that impressed then I will probably be blown away!!! I have some performances this weekend and if I get the horn in time to adjust I'll post a review, if not I'll have one for you all the following week. I've been meaning to call PH to visit IU soon, and now that he is back from England I guess I will take my Stage 1 up to bloomington when I go and have a little mini hang.... Excited to hear him on his new Eclipse horns!!!! Well.... peace everyone and Adrian...seeing your post made me remember being down under when I was in the Navy.... What a beautiful place Australia is ... Best Matt |
