Re: My New Horn, the first pic.

Tony(now that I actually know your name), how exciting!! Very nice...That is very close to what mine is going to look like, minus the U shaped braces, and a few other spots. Definitely exciting-that means mine is next in line, I believe! You gotta share some sound files and whatnot when you get it. Have you decided on an actual finish yet? Or is that it? When is it actually supposed to arrive? Adam, every horn is a model, basically...custom built to you :) You can have any model on the site built to how you want it and how you want it to look, pretty much. Tony, isn't this a California model with some different bracing, and of course the rimless copper bell? It looks like the Cali Light caps and buttons, anyway.

Congrats...almost there!

Russ

Re: My New Horn, the first pic.

Lighten up on Posting?????????????????? HA!!! Geez Tony, we dont all have a cool webpage to put our stuff on

Actually, the horn is all done except for the leadpipe, it is going to be Sterling Silver. This is a California model with modifications. I hope to have it in my hands in about a week or two, I cant wait. Felix can duplicate it or even make you what you want. I think the Cal. model are the only ones he will truly customize, the new yorks are as they are.

I am getting updates from Felix regularly at this point, he has been great to deal with.

I will try to get some sound files up when it is here. Anyone near Baltimore Md let me know and you can come try it out.
