| Forte User | My Pet Frankenhorn Was finished today. Raw brass, though the bell is silver plated. The bell is the Stage 1 California bell The leadpipe/tune slide is a Stage 1 NY, with a special-order heavy reciever. The body is a 1981 Getzen Eterna. I think I want a Matte Lacquer finish from Kanstul. Not decided yet. I get it in the mail Friday. Can't wait. Van

| Forte User | The sound was described by those listening to me as one of the "Vintage" jazz players, very bright, but ringy as well. The sound is almost described as being cornet-like. Its the only bright sounding horn I've enjoyed playing, though I may be a bit biased... Van
