And my Stage 1 has arrived...finished!

Well, here it is. My digital camera basically sucks, so these are kinda crappy, but you get the point. Beautiful horn, with an AMAZING sound. Very versatile, especially with the two slides(rounded bronze, and squared nickel silver). The tuning is just amazing, and the sound just seems to keep getting better every time I pick it up! It just won't back up on me either, no matter how loud or soft I want to play. Hands down, this thing is amazing! Major thanks go out to Felix Vayser and Garry Stoner and NYTC. Anyway, on to those pictures...I see my buddy has already posted his...ours came in at the same time from the finisher-now you can see the difference! I ALMOST wish I had gone brushed-almost, but not quite. I still love the look of everything being polished, it's just amazing.

congrats Russ, it looks awesome! As far as the photos go, use bright lighting and no flash....worked ok for me.

PS. I like the all polished look also

Clarence,
This horn plays...well...I don't even know how to put it. However you want it to play. Especially with the two tuning slides. You can go from a sizzling lead sound to a smoky small combo sound to a perfect legit sound to anything you want. Just a beautiful horn that plays just that way. I can't wait to really dig in and start doing some major practicing and recording on it.
