Blind Bruce will become famous soon enough
Need Bach information

Is a Bach Strad S/N 566xxx a pre strike horn? Or am I thinking of another manufacturer?
Are there any issues I should look at before buying it?

Yeah. How does it play? That's more important than whether it's pre or post strike...

s.coomer is on a distinguished road
Re: Need Bach information

Not only how does it play, but how is the slotting, how in tune with itself is it, does the horn give you the sound you are looking for. All these questions have to be answered when looking for a new horn. Why confine yourself to Bach? There are many more brands out there who make real quality instruments.
