New NYTC Signature Models Just a note, that Felix and Anton Possegger have worked an exciting new deal and will have available a brand new line of horns. They will be called the NYTC Signature Models. It consists of both Flugels and Trumpets. Here's a few pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Many were very fond of the previous collaborations between these two designers. Now, the options have not only gotten better, but there are even more to choose from. I know from the trials I did - both personally and with folks from my area - that the Vayser/Possegger models were extremely popular. Sound, valves, look...they were real solid horns. I have never tried one of the flugels, but man..they just look terrific. Those are something I will be most interested in trying. The trumpets, as I said...have a totally different blow than many traditional horns. This is in a "good" way...just different! So smooth. I was very taken with earlier models (as were many others). Perhaps these will be available in Felix's show room in the near future. To check out more, go to: New York Trumpet Company - Signature Enjoy! (no drooling...

Re: New NYTC Signature Models Wow! Great stuff, man. I just wish I could save enough money to buy one. Maybe someday I'll be able to get just one. BTW, what's with that third flugel from the left? I've never seen one with four valves!

Re: New NYTC Signature Models I have one of the old flugels, and it doesn't suck! I like my Bb too, it helps me get the job done with a minimum of effort. I'd like to check out a C, but I may need to thin my collection first! Felix makes great horns!

Re: New NYTC Signature Models Thank you for the compliments, guys. The Signature collection is very similar to my older New York collection, but some small modifications. New finishes, new bells, combinations. I honestly did not have very much to do with the design and making of these horns, they are all Anton Possegger, but with a little variation from his own line. Leadpipes and receivers are the main difference, they are made specially to fit our mouthpieces. Some German and Austrian made horns tend to have a very wide receiver,so there have been many issues with a proper fit. I'll have a selection of 4 Bb's ,a C and a Flugel in the shop around mid July. Come on by and try them, you will not be disappointed.
