Phaeton or Yamaha

If you had a choice between either a Phaeton or a YTR-8310Z for the same price, which would you choose?

Re: Phaeton or Yamaha

I'm leaning towards the Yamaha, just because of the fact that they're more consistent, easier to repair, have warranties, and are just from a company I can trust to give me a well tested and, as said before, consistent, product.

The 8310Z is a great horn with a reasonable price.

Re: Phaeton or Yamaha

As I said at TH, Felix is an amazing guy. He alone may sway your decision. Great communication. He'll do whatever you need to make it work. Talk to him at Nytrumpetco@aol.com

Dave Mickley is on a distinguished road
Re: Phaeton or Yamaha

I have played quite a few Yamahas and was very lucky to be on the list to test the Phaeton that Felix sent around, I would have to go with the Phaeton but I am not sure about the model you are talking about. Everyone is right about Felix - he is a great guy to deal with and will go above and beyond what most dealers do for their customers. Dave
