philharmonic trumpet

ive got this "philharmonic" brand trumpet and im wondering if it is any good?

i got it 12 years ago when i started in school band... but my mom bought it used from a friend, so i have no idea if it is just a standard beginners student level trumpet or not

ive looked around a bit on the internet but havnt found a thing about the brand. anyone have any idea?

I am also not familiar with that brand, but maybe this will help:
A pro trumpet generally has a fixed finger ring on the third valve (adjustable ones are signs of a student instrument) and a trigger, saddle or ring on the first valve.
Everything else is not easily discernable. Bracing, bore, water keys can be visually identical.
The professional brands are pretty much known in the industry and I can't recall ever having seen "philharmonic". I would assume that it is a student or intermediate instrument. There are quite a few very fine playing horns in that range , so it may not matter!

hmm, interesting. its got an adjustable ring on the 3rd and nothing on the 1st.

perhaps its time for an upgrade
