Praise to Charlie Melk, M/K Drawing, Pickett Brass, Prowinds!

I bought a brand new Yamaha 8335G Xeno trumpet from Prowinds. Great service and personal attention from the president of the company. Bravo!

I then ordered a rounded tuning slide from M/K Drawing for the horn. Perfect fit, improved the play of the horn, perfect finish, great communication, easy to work with.

I ordered a set of finger buttons, top valve caps, and bottom valve caps from Pickett Brass. Great communication, exceptional product!

Then, Charlie Melk put a first valve slide ring on my horn and an Amado waterkey on the third valve slide and relacquered both. Drop dead perfect work. Fast turnaround, reasonable rates.

Now, my Xeno is pretty much the perfect horn. It plays nearly identical to my 1992 Chicago era Monette 149XL. Thank you to all of these companies.

It sounds like a super deal on a super horn. Congratulations, and welcome to TM! (Too bad we don't have any "jealousy" smilies!)
