Repair Shop in Twin Cities Minnesota Hey, I'm looking for a good shop in the Twin Cities area, last night my solder joint snapped off of my bell, from the lead pipe receiver/bell brace. I had a Bob Reeves valve alignment recently, and the horn has been playing fantastic. I just wanna make sure it doesn't get messed up. Any recommendations?

Re: Repair Shop in Twin Cities Minnesota The two repair tech's that I have used are Eric Peterson and Marv McCoy. They both have their own shops, are also working brass players and do great work. I have heard that Groth Music also has a good brass repair person on staff. Hope this helps. Chris

Re: Repair Shop in Twin Cities Minnesota Afternoon, Seconding what Chris said above, Marv McCoy is absolutely top notch. During Easter 2006 I sat on my piccolo, damaging the 4th valve slide, and he gave it back to me right as rain. At the time I believe he said he was retiring, selling his house and moving, so I'm not sure if he's still available to do repairs. Andy

Re: Repair Shop in Twin Cities Minnesota I have been going to Lucas at Eckroth in White Bear Lake and he does really good work. The repair tech at Groth is also good, i forget her name. (go to Eckroth because it is a lot closer to where I live)
